A Welcome from Our Director

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
— Nelson Mandela

We built IRA around a simple idea: education has the power to transform not only a child’s future but also the family, community and society to which that child belongs. Our responsibility is therefore greater than preparing pupils to pass examinations. We are committed to nurturing knowledgeable, confident and responsible young people who can think independently, overcome challenges and use their abilities to make a positive difference in the world.

Life at IRA

A school built for showing up curious.

No two days look the same — but every one of them starts with a teacher who already knows your child's name.

From Our Students

Written by IRA students, not the marketing team.

Every writer here is currently enrolled. Nobody edits their opinions out of it — we just fix the typos.

Admissions

Questions parents/guardians actually ask.

Still have one that isn't here? Bring it to your visit — or send it to us directly.

What actually happens on a visit?

About 45 minutes: a walk through classes in session, time in the year group your child would join, and a straight conversation with the head of that stage about fit — not a sales pitch.

How does admission work after that?

We ask for a short application and a records transfer, then place your child in the right class based on age and where they're at academically. Most families hear back within two weeks.

Can my child join mid-year?

Yes, if there's a place in that year group — this is common, and we keep a handful of spots open through the year specifically for it.

What about fees and payment plans?

We'll walk through the full fee schedule and available term-by-term plans on your visit, so you're comparing real numbers, not a brochure range.

Do you offer before and after-school care?

Supervised care runs from 7am and enrichment clubs run until 6pm, staffed by our own teachers rather than an outside provider.
